Quercus robur(Mother Tincture)
Tincture of acorns either peeled, crushed or shredded.
Spirit distilled from the tincture is Spiritus glandium quercus and Water extract of acorns with addition of alcohol is Aqua glandium quercus. These are milder version of this medicine.

Causes & Symptoms for Quercus robur
Quercus diminishes the abnormal craving for spirits with marked giddiness.
Its chief actions are on alcoholism, constipation, diarrhoea, giddiness, gouty complaints.
Foul breath tending to vomit is an indication for this remedy.
Mind and Head
Nervous, depressed, glum, taciturn, easily moved to tears is the mental state for indication of Quercus.
Whirling vertigo with eczema of scalp.
Ear, nose
Difficulty in hearing with lot of noises in the head
Useful in catarrhal conditions of nose as well.
Stomach and abdomen
Quercus is a splenic remedy which relieves the pain in the left hypochondrium.
Liver and spleen enlarged is resolved with Quercus.
Extremities
Gait tottering, hands quivered, like a drunken man, is resolved.
