Bakson Jalapa

Common Name:  Ipomoea purga (Hayne), Concolvulus purga (Winderoth), Exogonium purga (Benth), Jalap.

Causes & Symptoms for Bakson Jalapa

Jalapa helps in many gastro intestinal conditions like colic, diarrhea and flatulence.

There is pain in right hypochrondrium with pinching and griping sensation.

Jalapa also helps in watery diarrhea when the stools are thin and muddy in nature.

Abdomen is distended and the anus is sore.

There is great weakness, fainting fits, excessive uneasiness and tossing about of limbs.

There is better of pain by eructations of frothy matter and flatulence.

Mind

There is Great restlessness with anxiety.

Head

Jalapa is useful in Violent headache.

Pain in head, smarting in skin of forehead is relieved by it.

Ears

Jalapa relieves Humming in ears.

Face

It is useful in complaint of Dryness of lips.

Mouth

Biting and smarting of tongue indicate Jalapa.

Stinging on tongue and in fauces can be checked by Jalapa.

Stomach

Flatulent and frothy eructations with abatement of pain is well relieved by Jalapa.

It relieves Nausea.

Abdomen

It relieves Pain in right hypochondrium.

Severe griping, cutting pain in bowels, worse at night indicates Jalapa.

Jalapa relieves Pain in middle of abdomen and in region of left superior flexure of colon.

Flatulent rumbling in bowels can be checked by it.

It is well indicated in Colic: violent pain in small intestines, as if abdomen would be cut to pieces.

Jalapa is helpful in complaints of Inflammation of intestines.

Stools: violent, excessive, bloody, watery, with weak pulse, sour smelling, with great restlessness and anxiety.
